Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Being an Established award winning female Bhangra team in the UK, we have strived to promote Bhangra music to a wider audience since 1999. Our hard work and growing recognition has earned us the opportunity to perform on some of the largest and well-known platforms such as, the Glastonbury festival and the BBC. However, now we have three Bollywood films to add to the list, allowing us to now be referred to as ‘Bollywood Dhol drummers’.

In the cold October of 2015, the production team of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ approached

Eternal Taal’s pioneering female Dhol drumming team. Having already featured in two Bollywood films, bringing vibrancy to ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ in 2012 and watching us bring energy and entertainment in ‘Shaandaar’ in 2015; we knew hard work pays off when we were approached for a third performance opportunity. Spending half a day on the streets of London filming alongside two big Bollywood stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma is an experience that is unforgettable for the team. Bumping into the crew we worked well with over the other two films made our drummers feel right at home.

We’re the UK’s first and only female Bhangra entertainments team and having now performed alongside the Deols, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma we can’t wait for our next Bollywood project. It is true; Once may be seen as chance, twice may be seen as luck but a third is most definitely destiny.. Be sure to watch us in Karan Johar’s 2016 Bollywood box office hit, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
